Hartland Oaks Sanctuary and Education Center began with a simple but powerful vision: to create a place where animals aren’t just cared for—they’re celebrated. A place where families, kids, and communities can connect with nature, learn about agriculture, and experience the calming joy of animals, both big and small.

But here’s the twist: not all of our animals are rescues. Many of them have worked hard as therapy animals, greeters, teachers, or event stars. And when their work is done, many of them don’t get sold off or moved along. They stay here—loved, honored, and home forever.
