At Hartland Oaks Sanctuary, every animal has a storyâand sometimes, that story begins with a bit of struggle, a whole lot of snuggles, and the kind of hope that doesnât give up. Today, we want to introduce you to Harris.
Harris was born with underdeveloped front legs. While his sister, Hope, was full of early life spark, she sadly passed shortly after birth, leaving a hole in our hearts. But Harris is still hereâand heâs holding on in his own gentle way.
Most days, youâll find this little guy scooting on his front knees, curled up sleeping, or being held in someoneâs arms. He prefers the quiet comforts of the house over the barnyard bustle, and weâre more than happy to oblige.
Weâve been giving him every chance:âš Nursing from momâš Extra bottles of her milkâš Selenium support for muscle developmentâš Cozy indoor time and constant affection
Heâs growing slowly, one day at a timeâsurrounded by love, watched over carefully, and cheered on by all of us here at the sanctuary.
We donât know exactly what Harrisâs future holds just yet, but we do know this: He is loved. He is safe. And he is not alone.
Follow Harrisâs journey as he continues to grow, heal, and inspire. Whether you donate, share his story, or just send a little extra love his wayâknow that it means the world to us.
đ From heartbreak came Hope. And now, from Hope⊠came Harris.
