🐐 Meet Harris: A Tiny Fighter with a Big Heart 💚

At Hartland Oaks Sanctuary, every animal has a story—and sometimes, that story begins with a bit of struggle, a whole lot of snuggles, and the kind of hope that doesn’t give up. Today, we want to introduce you to Harris.

Harris was born with underdeveloped front legs. While his sister, Hope, was full of early life spark, she sadly passed shortly after birth, leaving a hole in our hearts. But Harris is still here—and he’s holding on in his own gentle way.

Most days, you’ll find this little guy scooting on his front knees, curled up sleeping, or being held in someone’s arms. He prefers the quiet comforts of the house over the barnyard bustle, and we’re more than happy to oblige.

We’ve been giving him every chance:✹ Nursing from mom✹ Extra bottles of her milk✹ Selenium support for muscle development✹ Cozy indoor time and constant affection

He’s growing slowly, one day at a time—surrounded by love, watched over carefully, and cheered on by all of us here at the sanctuary.

We don’t know exactly what Harris’s future holds just yet, but we do know this: He is loved. He is safe. And he is not alone.

Follow Harris’s journey as he continues to grow, heal, and inspire. Whether you donate, share his story, or just send a little extra love his way—know that it means the world to us.

💚 From heartbreak came Hope. And now, from Hope
 came Harris.
